Senior Litigation Paralegal (Immigration)
Solow, Hartnett and Galvan is an immigration law firm with offices in Center City Philadelphia, Collingswood, NJ, and Kennett Square, PA. We are seeking an experienced immigration paralegal to join our litigation and complex waivers team. The right candidate will, under attorney supervision, be able to assemble court filings and evidence submissions for filing with the Immigration Courts. As a litigation paralegal you will work directly with the three partners of our firm, as well as independently with clients to develop and assemble their cases. In addition, the Senior Litigation Paralegal with Solow, Hartnett and Galvan will also, on occasion, provide writing support for our complex waiver cases including but not limited to the drafting of affidavits, support letters, and responses to complex Requests for Evidences (RFEs).
Candidate Profile:
Successful candidates should have strong verbal, written, and organizational skills; be able to understand complicated rules and procedures; and have at least a Bachelor’s degree. Spanish language fluency is required, and the applicant must have immigration experience. At least two years of related immigration experience is strongly preferred.

Associate Attorney
Solow, Hartnett and Galvan is an immigration law firm with offices in Center City Philadelphia, Collingswood, NJ, and Kennett Square, PA and we are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Philadelphia office. The right candidate will be able to independently handle a heavy case load before the Philadelphia and Newark Immigration Courts.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates should have strong verbal, written, and organizational skills; be able to understand complicated rules and procedures; and have at least a Bachelor’s degree. Spanish language fluency is required, and the applicant must have immigration experience. At least two years of related immigration experience is strongly preferred.
- Represent clients before the immigration courts, USCIS, CBP, the BIA, U.S. Department of State, and federal courts
- Prepare and draft applications/petitions for immigration benefits
- Advise clients on possible avenues of relief
- Develop factual backgrounds and legal arguments to support claims for asylum
- Research case law, regulations & statutes to help in defending clients and asserting their rights
- Represent clients in family-based applications, consular processing and other cases
- Legal research and writing in support of various applications and petitions for benefits and claims for relief
- Handle consultations with potential clients
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience handling all aspects of cases in immigration court
- Fluent Spanish speaker
- Member of any state bar association
Excellent legal writing skills and Spanish language fluency are required, and some immigration law experience is also required. At least two years of experience as an associate is strongly preferred. Applicants must submit a full resume and at least two (2) legal writing samples to be considered for the position.
